engagement ring setting with an asscher cut diamond?
My boyfriend got me a 2 carat asscher cut diamond, and now we are trying to pick out a setting for it. I really like settings with the two trillion cut diamonds on the sides, but what wedding band would I wear with that? Thanks for your input!!
I would recommend a Platinum setting and leave it as a solitaire. 2 ct is already quite large and to add more stones on the sides just starts to make the whole thing look gaudy and something out of a bubble gum machine.
You don't want the other stones to be a distraction from the beauty of the Asscher cut.
Less is more.
